How do I login to the new Toastmasters International website? Where do I go to update our club officers and meeting location? Why should I visit the district website? How can our club get a free website without tacky banner ads? In this session, Bo Bennett, DTM & Ryan Levesque, will answer all of these questions and many more that you never even thought to ask!

It is certainly a privilege to be a part of such an amazing network. I want to continually progress and become a first class speaker.

Great job guys on the podcasts. Listened to your latest one today. The 1 bit of advice I can offer (sincerely) is to cut the babble/banter short (real short - like eliminate it). There is nothing more annoying than listening to a podcast and hearing, for 5 mins, the hosts telling us what they had for breakfast this morning, etc, etc. (Not your show, someone elses).
Just deliver the meat. There seems to be a preoccupation, in general, that podcasts have to be sssstttttreeeeeetttttcccccchhhhheeedddddd.....(read - stretched) to make the 1+ hour........Don't think so.....The most effecient is approx 15-20 mins as I can listen to them either thru a coffee break or several thru a lunch hour ( If its more than 20 mins, it better be very interesting !!! )
But great effort & keep it coming as I have Toastcasters bookmarked in iTunes.

Thanks guys for your explanation on the technology of Toastmasters. It is certainly most enlightening even for those of us who are toastmasters. We are not always clear about the goings-on in the technical aspects of the organisation and this session certainly cleared up a few grey areas for me. I am sure I speak on behalf of many fellow toastmasters when I say that
this was a wonderful learning experience. Keep up the good work!!

Finished attending & volunteering at the TI Convention in Calgary; A meca of talent for certain. Searched hi & lo for both Bo Bennett & Ryan Levesque. Just wanted to say your podcasts are well received (by me anyways). Congrats ! Good content & very good professional delivery. Audio is very clear of consistent level. Very helpful at explaining TI basics, such as "The Tech of Toastmasters". Hopefully you gathered enough material at the convention for the forthcoming episodes I am looking forward to hearing. Also, great job on the FreeToastHost website template. I setup & administered our clubs site for 2+ years now. As incoming Area 45 Governor, I will strongly encourage my other 3 clubs to do the same as its very easy & effecient to administer your club website once its setup. (That leaves more time for more productive stuff - such as speeches and personal TM goals). Unfortunately, we couldn't meet. Until next time.

Paul Endress, persuasion extraordinaire, gives Bo and Ryan a lesson on how to use effective persuasion techniques one-on-one, and in a presentation.  Bo likes turtles.

Is it just me, or did this get cut off? Liked what I did hear, however.

Just you :)... and anyone who's PC stops the loading mid way.  Clear your temp internet files, and play again

About the discounts and upgrades...I think it's less about his technique "becuase I'm here" than it is about simply ASKING for something.   I almost always ask for a discount when I buy products (that are over $100) and I sometimes ask for upgrades.  I usually proceed the question with friendly banter and then ask.  It is amazing (to me) how often discounts and upgrades area available.  My father taught me when I was little --"It never hursts to ask, the worst they can say is "no".  This advice has served me well. Try it!
